Mike Conway first completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in Canada, before heading off to Australia to study physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. In 2005 he completed a Masters degree in Physiotherapy studies, in 2007 he completed a Masters degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy and then in 2009 he completed a Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy. His education has given him recognized specialization in the latest evidenced based practice, skilled assessment and diagnosis of complex pain syndromes, sport and spinal related injuries and effective ‘hands-on’ management techniques.
In 2013, mike also successfully became a certified hand therapist giving him recognized specialization in the art and science of rehabilitation of the upper limb, which includes the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder girdle.
Mike enjoys treating a varied case load of patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including sport and orthopedic conditions, in private practice and while on the road with sporting teams. Mike has worked and traveled with various sporting teams in Canada and Australia and continues to travel and work with the Canadian Ski Cross Team.
Mike has competed nationally in tennis and has played competitive volleyball, basketball, soccer and ultimate Frisbee and regularly mountain bikes, surfs and snowboards and ski’s. Mike also completed his first Subaru Ironman Canada race in 2012 in under 11 hours. Areas of interest include injury prevention, concussion and mild traumatic brain injury, vestibular rehabilitation, sports and spinal injuries, hand therapy, exercise rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.

Tony has been a registered physiotherapist since 1987 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 2010. Prior to moving to the coast he had worked at Vancouver General Hospital for 34 years and has significant experience as a physiotherapist working in the outpatient rehabilitation department treating orthopaedic trauma and hand patients.
A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is a physical or occupational therapist who has passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. CHT services may include swelling management, wound care, custom splinting, sensory evaluation and specialized exercise programs.

Cheryl completed her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of British Columbia, in 1994. She then had training in manipulative therapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. After instruction in Intramuscular Stimulation with Dr Chan Gunn (GIMS), she became certified to practise IMS in 2007. Fascial Manipulation became a clinical interest in 2010, when she started her training in Italy. Assessment and application with musculoskeletal disorders was completed, then she furthered her study in Fascial Manipulation for Internal Dysfunction and superficial fascial dysfunction, and acquired her teacher’s certification in 2015. While in Italy she has had the pleasure and honour of learning from the “Family Stecco:” Luigi Stecco PT; Dr Carla Stecco MD; and Dr Antonio Stecco MD. Currently, she is teaching Fascial Manipulation workshops and Level I and II courses in Canada and returns to Padova, Italy regularly for ongoing education.
Another area of interest includes women’s health, in particular rehabilitation after thoracic surgery, including masctectomy and reconstructive surgery and complications such as lymphedema.
